We invite submissions of abstracts for poster presentations at the “Breaking Down Borders in Research III” conference that will take place in Aalborg, on Saturday, 2nd March.

As shown in the program of the event, in connection with the poster session, networking drinks will be served, which will create a highly interactive and attractive atmosphere for students to disseminate their research! This session will also include a fast-forward presentation track where selected autors will be able to orally present a quick summary of their work.

Do not hesitate and share your knowledge with the members of the Association of Spanish Researchers in Denmark and all other attendees!!

   • Submitted abstracts/posters can describe completed research and/or relevant results of in progress research by the author in all areas.
   • The submission consists of a short abstract (max. 1 A4-page) in PDF format, written in English, providing an overview of the overall content that will be included in the poster.
   • The poster abstracts should be sent by e-mail to ace.dinamarca@gmail.com with the subject “BDBIRIII Poster Abstract – [Title of your poster]”.

Once the abstract is accepted, the author will receive a notification. For the conference poster session, the authors must bring their posters printed in any size equal or larger than A1 (59.4cm X 84.1cm), in either portrait or landscape format.

Once at the event, there will be a Best Poster Award, which will be judged by the CED board members based on the following criteria:
   • The author is able to explain in layman's terms what his/her presented research is about.
   • The author is able to explain in a clear an easy-to-undertand manner how his/her research was developed.
   • The author is able to express his/her views on why his/her research is relevant for society.
   • The author is able to link his/her research to the topic of the conference; by expressing his/her views on, for example, how "Science in the Parliament" or new legislations/regulations may be importantto his/her current or future research.

Please, note that if you submit a poster abstract, you can also apply for a travel grant.
