CED in collaboration with the Ramón Areces Foundation offers travel grants to attend to the III Breaking Down Borders in Research in Aalborg, on Saturday 2nd March 2019. These grants are aimed at students (undergraduate, master's and doctorate), postdoctoral researchers and scientists living in Denmark.
We offer 20 grants up to a maximum of 1.120 kr.
1. Requirements:
   • Be a member of CED and be up to date with the payment of the membership for the year 2019.

   • Live outside Nordjylland.
   • Be a student (undergraduate, master's and doctorate), postdoctoral researchers or scientists living in Denmark.
   • Sumbit an abstract and participate in the poster session.
2. Documentation:
   • Short CV (1-page) stating your research status in Denmark, including place of employment or residency.
   • Motivation letter indicating why you would like to attend to the event.
   • Receipt with confirmation of submitted poster abstract.
3. Payment of the travel grants:
   • The travel grant will be paid AFTER the event, according to the expenses concurred by the participant.
   • The corresponding tickets related to the expenses have to be sent to CED by email within two months of the event.
   • The maximum payment will never exceed the amount of 1.120 kr.
4. Selection process:
   • The applications will be evaluated by the CED board of directors.
   • Full CED members will have priority over other applicants.
   • Once full CED member applicants are served, all other travel grants will be assigned on first come first served basis upon positive evaluation from the board of directors.

6. Personal data collected during the application:
   • The applicants give their consent to CED for storing their personal data. This will be done confidentially. No personal data will not be passed to other entities.
7. Other conditions:
   • The applicants agree to accept any decision by CED in relation with the acceptance or rejection of their application, which will not be revoked in any case.
   • By submitting an application, the solicitants accept (without any exception) all the bases and conditions listed above.
